    About IACBAM 3004:2025 Certification

IACBAM 3004:2025 certification is designed for professionals across the entire supply chain – EU importers, third-country exporters, and everyone in between – involved in . This program enables everyone exposed to CBAM requirements to formally demonstrate they possess the knowledge needed for EU CBAM regulatory compliance.

The program covers CBAM fundamentals such as applicability, emissions reporting, monitoring, financial impacts, and responsibilities. We recommend that importers require this certification through their supplier code of conduct to ensure a baseline level of CBAM knowledge across the supply chain.

The training is built not only for knowledge transfer but also to ensure that participants successfully pass the IACBAM certification and are ready to contribute from day one.

In particular, the training includes preparation for pre-verification, an internal (and sometimes external) review process used to ensure that emissions data and calculation methods are accurate, complete, and compliant with EU rules before being submitted to EU verifiers, importers, or competent authorities.

    Who is this certification for?

    • Professionals across the entire supply chain – EU importers, third-country exporters, and everyone in between
    • Manufacturers of iron & steel, aluminum, cement, fertilizers, hydrogen, and electricity exporting to the EU
    • Sustainability managers and coordinators
    • CFOs and compliance managers

    Why an online format?

CBAM affects the ecosystem globally – but direct feedback shows that professionals outside Europe face real barriers to attending in-person trainings: visa requirements, travel costs, and logistical restrictions. This online session is designed specifically to lift those barriers and provide the same internationally recognized certification to participants anywhere in the world.

This is not a generic CBAM webinar. It is a full certification program aligned with IACBAM 3004:2025, delivered in a small-group setting with real interaction and practical depth.

    ⚠ Why this matters now

    • CBAM reporting is already operational.
    • Transitional reporting errors are increasing.
    • Financial exposure is real and costs are defined.
    • Supply chain liability is rising.

Companies that wait will pay more later – in corrections, penalties, and lost credibility.

    Certified professionals will learn to:

    • Classify goods using CBAM taxonomy and CN codes
    • Calculate and manage emissions data, distinguishing actual vs. default values
    • Establish compliant, secure CBAM workflows
    • Maintain complete audit trails and meet retention requirements
    • Track legal changes and apply them in practice
    • Identify when expert advice is needed and how to document it
    • Understand the role and duties of CBAM compliance officers
