Is your association established, but your website and workflows have not kept pace?

Digitalization starts with your website, but reaches into the work behind it: from first interest to membership inquiry and the next contact. When details are entered twice and agreements depend on individual people, the connection is missing. Where does it hold you back?

The check is free of charge and takes only a few minutes. We put your answers into context together in a personal conversation.

    PROBLEM

The network is growing. The organization depends on a few people.

A membership application arrives by email. The approval needs the board, the invoice is created separately and the welcome package is dug up from an old folder. For an event, you maintain the website, registration, newsletter and attendee list one after another. A change has to be repeated in several places.

Members ask about documents, dues and dates. Usually the same person knows the right answer. If that person is unavailable or hands off their volunteer role, not just a pair of hands is missing, but knowledge and context. Commitment is there. What is missing is a process that the next person can also understand and carry forward reliably.

    HYPOTHESIS

A new website, or just one more tool?

That is the natural reflex. Yet there is often already member records, newsletters, event software, accounting and a website. Each application serves a purpose, but they run in parallel. The website starts a conversation, then the next step is entered again elsewhere. People copy details, search for agreements and keep the connection going by hand. How the work behind it all connects rarely gets asked.

    ANTI-THESIS

More tools do not close the gap.

A nicer website changes nothing if the path from first interest to membership inquiry and the next contact still needs the same questions and manual work. Another app simply adds another login. Not every existing system needs replacing, but its handoffs need to work. A one-off IT project built and handed over is not enough: your business moves on, and its digital workflows need to move with it.

    DIAGNOSIS

What is missing is the path in between.

The gaps often sit along the path from first interest to membership inquiry and the next contact. Who takes over, what details do they need, and where is the current status? The website is the first link in this chain, not its end. A modern website becomes part of your business system when inquiries arrive in an organized way and the next step is clear.

    MECHANISM

Three levels for an association with a future

wis.dom|digital™ starts with a modern website as a reliable entrance into your business. From there we connect the steps from first interest to membership inquiry and the next contact, gradually rather than through a complete overhaul. Together we choose a useful improvement within the agreed scope, introduce it and let the team use it. We review and adjust before building further. Existing systems stay where they work well.

    01

    Foundation

A modern website makes purpose, member benefits and a structured contact path clear. It shows what you do and collects structured inquiries, with simple routing to the right person. We design, build and maintain this foundation, secure and up to date. It is the entrance into the business, not an extra task list. More extensive specialist workflows are agreed separately. Twice a year we review this basis in the Digital Foundation Review.

    02

    Growth

We connect the website with agreed contact management, appointments and follow-up. This makes the path from first interest to membership inquiry and the next contact traceable without entering the same details repeatedly. Lightweight integrations use the jointly defined systems. Deeper ERP or specialist software integrations are reviewed and quoted separately. In the quarterly 60-minute Digital Growth Review, you choose the next step with a Business Advisor.

    03

    Steering

First we clarify the questions you need to answer for your decisions: inquiries, available membership dues data and financial overview. Then we build your Business Cockpit within the jointly defined systems. Agreed operating, banking and financial data provide a useful overview instead of another report. This does not mean replacing a complete ERP or specialist system. Once a month you discuss the numbers and next decisions with a Business Advisor.

    EXAMPLES

An example from a membership network

A membership platform that grows with you

A regional association ran members, events, invoices and documents across half a dozen separate tools. Today it all runs on one platform, and the routine work runs itself.

The association worked across six countries and their languages. The starting point was a patchwork: website, newsletter, events, invoices, member list and documents each ran in a separate tool, each with its own login. A new membership request meant emails back and forth, an invoice typed in Word, and the directory and newsletter list updated by hand. Setting up one event took several hours across different systems, and the current documents sat wherever someone had saved them. Most of what mattered lived mainly in one person's head.

Good digital work connects the steps from first interest to membership inquiry and the next contact, without rebuilding your whole business at once. Your website is the start. The next step must work in daily use before we build further.
