Is your manufacturing business established, but your website and workflows have not kept pace?

Digitalization starts with your website, but reaches into the work behind it: from customer inquiry to quote and order processing. When details are entered twice and agreements depend on individual people, the connection is missing. Where does it hold you back?

The check is free of charge and takes only a few minutes. We put your answers into context together in a personal conversation.

    PROBLEM

Production is running. Oversight is lagging behind.

The customer asks about their delivery date, and the search begins in the office. The order sits in the ERP, the current status is on a traveler, the revised drawing is in an email. Someone walks through the shop floor to find out if material is missing or if work has already started. The quote for the next order waits, because nobody knows the actual times of the last one.

When an experienced person is absent, their informal agreements go missing too. Rework gets done but is not assigned to the order. At month end, revenue and utilization seem to add up, yet which orders actually make money remains unclear. The problem is not the machine, it is the gaps between sales, office and production.

    HYPOTHESIS

A new website, or just one more tool?

That is the natural reflex. Yet there is often already ERP, quoting software, accounting and a website. Each application serves a purpose, but they run in parallel. The website starts a conversation, then the next step is entered again elsewhere. People copy details, search for agreements and keep the connection going by hand. How the work behind it all connects rarely gets asked.

    ANTI-THESIS

More tools do not close the gap.

A nicer website changes nothing if the path from customer inquiry to quote and order processing still needs the same questions and manual work. Another app simply adds another login. Not every existing system needs replacing, but its handoffs need to work. A one-off IT project built and handed over is not enough: your business moves on, and its digital workflows need to move with it.

    DIAGNOSIS

What is missing is the path in between.

The gaps often sit along the path from customer inquiry to quote and order processing. Who takes over, what details do they need, and where is the current status? The website is the first link in this chain, not its end. A modern website becomes part of your business system when inquiries arrive in an organized way and the next step is clear.

    MECHANISM

Three levels between market, office and management

wis.dom|digital™ starts with a modern website as a reliable entrance into your business. From there we connect the steps from customer inquiry to quote and order processing, gradually rather than through a complete overhaul. Together we choose a useful improvement within the agreed scope, introduce it and let the team use it. We review and adjust before building further. Existing systems stay where they work well.

    01

    Foundation

A modern website makes services, production capabilities and the details needed for a useful quote clear. It shows what you do and collects structured inquiries, with simple routing to the right person. We design, build and maintain this foundation, secure and up to date. It is the entrance into the business, not an extra task list. More extensive specialist workflows are agreed separately. Twice a year we review this basis in the Digital Foundation Review.

    02

    Growth

We connect the website with agreed contact management, appointments and follow-up. This makes the path from customer inquiry to quote and order processing traceable without entering the same details repeatedly. Lightweight integrations use the jointly defined systems. Deeper ERP or specialist software integrations are reviewed and quoted separately. In the quarterly 60-minute Digital Growth Review, you choose the next step with a Business Advisor.

    03

    Steering

First we clarify the questions you need to answer for your decisions: open quotes, incoming orders and available financial data. Then we build your Business Cockpit within the jointly defined systems. Agreed operating, banking and financial data provide a useful overview instead of another report. This does not mean replacing a complete ERP or specialist system. Once a month you discuss the numbers and next decisions with a Business Advisor.

    EXAMPLES

Insights from project and service operations

The website makes a promise. Here is how the work behind it could follow through.

An interior contractor whose clients all praise the same thing: they never have to chase anyone. What changes when scheduling, updates and handover follow the same discipline behind the scenes?

An interior contractor has designed and built kitchens, bathrooms and complete renovations since 2003, coordinated by one project manager. The delivered website presents the promise: clients hear what happens next before they have to ask. Today it is kept mainly through personal effort: inquiries arrive by phone and email, appointments are arranged by hand and updates are sent individually. The following workflows are possible next steps, not already implemented.
